Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani, who is among the richest and most famous Reggae artists was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas the cult movie opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called like Father Like Son. This was followed by several singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a rising reggae artist. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees on Avenue in 1997. The song proved to be a massively successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley performed at the Midem event (an international music showcase) that was the first time it was performed in Miami. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record, and in 1997, he collaborated with P.M. Dawn on the track Gotta To Movin
