She was originally from Thessaloniki but she was raised in Alexandroupoli. Her mother worked as an assistant nurse. Her father is from Loutra in the Greek village of Loutra. She's known for playing a double role in the eponymous character in the Disney Channel teen sitcom, Liv and Maddie (2013) as well as in the role of Mal, daughter of Maleficent in Descendants (2015) as well as the sequel Descendants 2 (2017).
