Morgan starred on a video on AIDS awareness and prevention. Safe Sex for Men and Women. Part of the proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind numerous fund-raising efforts for this disease. She also spoke before an Congressional special committee on AIDS education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his place in AIDS activities. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special together with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline about AIDS. Morgan has received an Emmy nomination for a particular episode on Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan was co-starring on ABC Television's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season along with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Her next project took her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan was also the lead in a psychological thriller which was solely produced for the USA Network. It received the top rating recorded in network history.
